Add Placeholder Products

There may be times when you need to add a ”generic” product to a task in order to submit a purchase order. A placeholder item is typically used with the intent of replacing it with a ”real” item at a later time in the building process.

 

To add placeholder items to a task:

  1. Type a number in the Qty field to indicate the quantity of item(s) you want to order.

  2. Click the Add Placeholder Products button to save your changes.
